How to Assign Interviewers

This article explains how to assign interviewers to interview stages and what interviewers can access.


How interviewer assignment works

Interviewers are assigned at the interview stage level.

Each interviewer:

  • is responsible for specific stages

  • only sees the questions and criteria for their assigned stages

This keeps interviews focused and structured.


Assign interviewers to a stage

  1. Open the interview plan

  2. Select an interview stage

  3. Assign one or more interviewers

  4. Save changes

Repeat this process for each stage of the interview.


What interviewers receive

Assigned interviewers receive:

  • a notification that they are part of an interview

  • access to their assigned interview stages

  • the relevant questions and evaluation criteria

Interviewers do not see stages they are not assigned to.


Best practice

  • Assign interviewers based on expertise

  • Avoid overlapping responsibilities

  • Ensure each stage has a clear owner
