How do I download/share my Badge or Milestone on LinkedIn?

Once you have earned a Badge or Milestone, you can either download the certificate file or share it on LinkedIn.

Simply navigate to your profile, Me → My achievements. This will list all the Badges and Milestone certificates you have achieved.

  • Certificates can be downloaded as a file and shared externally

  • Badges are visual recognitions and are typically shared via LinkedIn or social posts

Step 1: Download your certificate or badge (recommended first step)

Once you’ve completed a learning path or mission, you can download the actual certificate file (PDF or image).

  1. Go to Me → My achievements

  2. Find the certificate or badge you want

  3. Click the Download icon on the achievement card

  4. Save the file to your device

This downloaded certificate is the official SocialTalent certificate and can be shared anywhere (LinkedIn, internal systems, email signatures, CVs, etc.).

Step 2: Share your certificate as a LinkedIn post (using the downloaded file)

If you’d like to showcase the actual certificate design on LinkedIn:

  1. Open LinkedIn

  2. Create a new post

  3. Upload the downloaded certificate file

  4. Add your own caption and publish

This option is ideal if your organisation uses a custom-branded certificate or prefers to highlight the certificate itself rather than a LinkedIn accreditation card.

To share directly to LinkedIn:

  1. On the achievement card, click the LinkedIn icon.

  2. A new LinkedIn window will open.

  3. If you’re not already logged in to LinkedIn, you’ll be prompted to sign in.

  4. LinkedIn will pre-fill the certification details for you.

Name
This will show the title of the mission or learning path you completed. No changes needed.

Issuing organisation
This should be set to SocialTalent. No changes needed.

Issue date
LinkedIn uses the month and year you completed the learning. This is correct as shown.

Expiration date
Leave this blank. SocialTalent certificates do not expire.

Credential ID
This is automatically generated by SocialTalent. You can leave this as is. It’s optional and doesn’t need to be edited.

Credential URL
This field may be empty. That’s expected; you don’t need to add anything here.

Skills (optional)
You may add skills if you wish, but this is not required to save or share your certificate.

Once saved, the certificate will appear in the Licenses & Certifications section of your LinkedIn profile.

If you can see the certificate saved on LinkedIn, the process is complete.

Important: The image used in LinkedIn accreditation posts is generated by LinkedIn and cannot be customised. To share a branded or customised certificate, download the certificate file and upload it manually as a LinkedIn post.
