All content access in Explore

Controlling Access to the SocialTalent Library (All Content Access)

The All Content Access setting allows you, as an administrator, to control which learners in your company can view and explore the entire SocialTalent content library, independent of the content you have specifically assigned to their learning paths.

This control is managed through the visibility of the "All Content" tab within the Explore view of the platform.

Go to Admin → Organisation → Content access → All Content Access

Understanding the "All Content" Tab

The "All Content" tab provides a broad view of every piece of content available on the SocialTalent platform, regardless of whether it has been officially added to your company's curated library or assigned to a specific learning path.

By managing the options below, you can decide who gets this comprehensive, discovery-focused access.

Content Access Options

You have three options for managing who can see and access the broad SocialTalent library:

1. Grant All Learners Access to the "All Content" Tab (Broadest Access)

  • What it means: Every learner in your company will see the "All Content" tab in their Explore view. This grants them broad access to browse and consume all available SocialTalent content.

  • Best for: Organizations that trust their employees to self-direct their learning and want to maximize the discovery of all available training resources.

2. Grant Learners from Selected Teams Access to the "All Content" Tab (Team-Based Control)

  • What it means: Only learners who are members of the selected teams will be able to see and use the "All Content" tab. Learners outside of these selected teams will not see the tab.

  • Action Required: You must select the specific teams that require this broad access.

  • Best for: Companies that want to provide broad access to specific, advanced, or high-performing teams while maintaining a more focused, curated library view for general or foundational users.

3. Prohibit "All Content" Access to All Learners (Most Restrictive)

  • What it means: None of the learners in your company will have access to the broad SocialTalent library through the "All Content" tab option in the Explore view.

  • User View: Learners will only see the content that has been explicitly assigned to them via Learning Paths or manually added to their library.

  • Best for: Organizations that require strict control over the content visible to their learners, ensuring they focus only on the mandatory or highly relevant assigned training.
